Manning Drive was temporarily closed on Friday after a vehicle drove through the guardrails at a parking deck on UNC’s campus.
UNC Media Relations confirmed that a vehicle went through the guardrails at Dogwood Deck and fell two stories onto the sidewalk around 12:30 p.m.

The driver was taken to UNC Hospitals with minor injuries. Officials say no other injuries were reported.
Chapel Hill Fire assisted at the scene. Traffic on Manning Drive was temporarily rerouted while authorities responded to the accident. As of 4 p.m., the road has since been reopened.

An investigation into the incident is currently underway.
