I-85 northbound lanes are closed in Orange County Wednesday morning after a crash near exit 170 for US 70.

Traffic delays stretched from the crash near the Orange-Durham county line through Orange County, approaching the merge with I-40 near Efland.
The crash was first reported at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday. North Carolina Department of Transportation officials initially estimated traffic would be impacted until noon Wednesday.
